John Green Food Service Building
The John Green Food Service Building is home to the Office of Energy Management.
This building was opened in 1968 and named after John W. Green. It originally served as the University’s food processing facility and contained kitchen, bakery and large food storage areas. Green was an emeritus Assistant Professor of Agriculture. He also served as food service manager for the navy unit located in Fell Hall from 1943–45.
Location
The John Green Food Service Building is located across the street from University High School on Gregory Street.The Office of Energy Management is responsible for the procurement and distribution of utilities for Illinois State University.
