The accessibility legend explains the four different accessibility features on the campus map.
Many of the university's building are equipped with elevators.
Accessible automatic doors are entrances which have an automatic door with a ramp leading up to it. By pushing on the automatic door button, the door will open.
These doors do not open automatically, however; they do have ramps leading up to them.
There is accessible parking spots located all around campus. The campus map provides information on their location.
For information about the location of visitor-only accessible parking, please call the Office of Parking and Transportation at (309) 438-8391.
If you encounter problems using Illinois State University's campus map, there are several options you can try. The Campus Map locations A-Z reads well in Jaws and can provide you with information about different locations on campus. Also, Map Handouts, which are printer friendly, are available. They provide you with different stylized versions on the campus map. If more assistance is needed regarding building accessibility concerns, please contact the campus ADA Coordinator through the Office of Equal Opportunity and Access.
