All vehicles occupying university parking facilities, other than in metered spaces and visitor pay lots, during the posted hours must display a valid and appropriate parking permit.
Faculty/Staff surface permits are valid in faculty/staff and commuter surface lots at all times.

Visitors or guests to the University may have extended parking privileges by prior arrangement with the department or area involved, or by the Office of Parking and Transportation in the lot(s) and at the times specified on the permit. Permits from the Office of Parking and Transportation are available from 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, and at other times from the University Police, 105 Nelson Smith Building. If it is necessary for persons who purchase a permit to use other vehicles on an emergency basis, temporary permits must be obtained to continue their parking privileges. Prices of visitors permits are $5.00 per day, or $20.00 per week. If parked in a meter on campus, the meter must be paid. Meters are enforced 24 hours a day 7 days a weeks. Parking in the Bone Pay Lot and South University Street Garage pay lot is $1.00 an hour for visitors. There is no overnight parking in the Bone Student Center pay lot and South University Street Garage pay lot. Violators risk being ticketed and towed.
