Officially opened in 1999, Illinois State University's Rappelling Tower is used by Campus Recreation to teach rappelling and for team building and by Military Science for training. The lower deck is 20 feet high with an angled wall, the upper deck stands 35 feet high and has both vertical wall and free rappel options. The low ropes course is used by Campus Recreation as a team building venue.
The Rappelling Tower / Low Ropes Course is located next to Illinois State University's track.
